This week's challenge at the Everything Wendy Vecchi yahoo group was to use at least one of Wendy's Studio 490 stamps and her Clearly For Art modeling film. As you can see I had Tim's 12 Tags on the brain and played with his faux mosaic technique. I used papers from Tim's Lost & Found stack as well as his Artful Dwellings Sizzix die. Everything is inked with a variety of brown and black distress inks.
The butterfly is a Studio 490 stamp. I've colored the two of them with distress inks and then heated the modeling film so I could raise their wings. The sentiments are a combo of Wendy's and Tim's stamps.
Now for the shout out - I've been fixing up my blog lately and had the great fortune to connect with Susie Jefferson. She's done wonders with my sidebar and navigation bar, and encouraged me to create my own header (my stamping) which she then morphed into what you see above. If you are thinking of a blog makeover, do check Susie out. I can't recommend her more highly!

Those houses look fabulous and I love how you kept it simple and just added splashes of colour - a fab idea!!! I love this! I love Tim's mosaic technique and plan on doing it on a picture frame. (I finally found the cement antiquities embossing powder). Gorgeous colours!
