I've made this tag in honor of Hels Sheridan's 200th Challenge over at Ink on My Fingers. Every Sunday Hels offers a challenge just for fun, and if you've ever been to her blog you know reading her posts is fun all on its own. She is incredibly talented and very funny. Hels also was instrumental in my starting a blog, which I did soon after discovering hers in 2010.
The lady is a Viva Las Vegas stamp. I used Dylusions Bubblegum Pink & London Blue ink sprays with H2O, and Tim's new chickenwire embossing folder on the tag. I then used Tim's large clock mask and distress inks, and three Sizzix dies: the new Word Play alpha/number die, the iron fence on-the-edge die, and tattered banners. The Word Play die looks like it's going to be my new go-to item for awhile... love the variety of styles on it.
My Tim techniques for Simon Says Stamp and Show are the color application of the ink sprays with water and the fragment tag purse.
I made the faux epoxy embellishments to feature Hels's name using a Wendy Vecchi technique (demoed here) using Tim's pins and Glossy Accents. I added some black Enamel Accents to the bottom and a Dymo 'celebrate' to the banner.
Congratulations to Hels, and thanks for all your inspiration. Here's to 200 more!
