Lovely idea! Your brush is gorgeous! I used to do altered brushes with the kids at school; we turned them round, so that the bristles became the hair, which could be 'styled' by the kids, and the rest became face and body - was great fun! Valerie

Looks great - really like the blue/black contrast on the handle. I could actually see the details better on Donna Downey's blog - the hearts are wonderful.

You're so cool. A real typewriter,indeed.

Marjie Kemper

Thanks, gals! And special thanks to Fern for the heads up on the pic - I just tweaked it and it should be much more clear.

Wow! I thought I had been keeping up with your blog, but I'm way behind! Now I have several links to explore and ideas to try! Your work always puts me in a happy mood!

What a cool paint brush Marjie! Loving your trademark blue!! I just love Donna and years ago had a class by her in South Africa would you believe. She was a scream and it really stretched me then as I was not online yet & therefore not very adventurous! Her new studio looks fabulous & it would be a dream come true for me to have some classes there with her. think I need to be planning my 50th birthday present 5 years in advance LOL!

Alie Hoogenboezem-de Vries

Marjie what a great alteration!!!It's so nice!!! I really enjoyed it...

greetings, Alie :-)

Anita Houston

I'm working on one for a swap! Yours is freaking fantastic!!! Your middle name should be Blue, Azure, Cornflower, Electric....something like that!!! WOW!

What a great idea! Love your design Marjie! x

I'm ashamed to say I was a bit non-plussed by a friend who bought a brush to alter - now I'm covinced after seeing yours Marjie! It's such fun and I love the fact that even the bristles didn't escape your gorgeous blue! Great fun.

Julie Case

WOW! Great job on this, Marjie! It is so very cool :)

Anne R

Hi Marjie, I saw this originally over at Donna's website and meant to write to you then to say how gorgeous it is. I am with Anita (above) your middle name should be something related to blue but I prefer Queen of all things blue! It is a real triumph and it has been so much fun seeing what other people have done with theirs too. Crfty hugs, Anne x

How cool, that's a fabulous piece of art.

Way cool Marjie,
