Sunday Stampers Challenge: Gold

At first I balked because I'm gold/shiny stuff is not my thing, but then I realized I could mute it down a bit and I was psyched to make something. I just got Tim's new Altered Muse texture trade set and the Bitty Grunge stamps, so this is their debut. I used Ranger's gold paint dauber on the rays stamp. Distress inks = weathered wood, shabby shutters, vintage photo, and black soot.

The sentiment says "It is in the brief moments of our everyday lives that we find memories to treasure forever." I hope Umbrella Man is having such a moment. LOL. I tried and tried to get a clear picture of the text but I couldn't make it happen... sorry it's not clear in the pic.

I do love that Umbrella Guy! GREAT quote, too! And I love the juxtaposition of Umbrella Man facing the sunshine...AWESOME!! Artfully thought provoking.
