It's Saturday so time for another challenge at Our Creative Corner. This week Vicki is hosting and she's designed an interesting sketch to spark your creativity. Here it is, with my take on it:
My papers are Graphic 45 and the little sentiment is on an inked scrap of manila file folder.
I cut a few of the butterflies out and raised their wings before applying rock candy distress stickles to the top for a bit of sparkle. Glossy Accents holds them in place.
I hope you'll pop on over to the OCC blog and see what my fellow design team members have created... it's amazing to see all the different looks we offer from the same sketch.
The challenge lasts a week and all are welcome... we hope you'll join us!
Great piece and lovely colours! Valerie

Oooh, Marjie, love those brown patterns. I am definitely a brown person and I'm loving what you did with the sketch this week. I really like how you cut out the butterflies and used them as embellishments - very clever and they are so pretty. Cool technique using a piece of a file folder for your sentiment too! Terrific work on this week's challenge.
Hope you are having a great weekend!
Hugs,
Linda
