I went with "manly bling" for the tag I'm entering at Simon Says Stamp and Show for their bling week and under the "Let's Ride" theme at Paper Issues.
I started inking that awesome new floor stamp (Beeswax) in Ranger's black archival ink and then colored the whole tag with yellow, orange and blue distress inks. I added the bicycle (Uptown Stamps) in black archival and then stamped the stitching around the edges with the same.
The quote came from QuoteGarden and I printed it on one of Tim Holtz's tickets, which I then inked with the yellow and orange DIs. Added the word CURIOUS using his Typeset die by Sizzix which I ran through the Vagabond. The tag and ticket are edged with black soot distress ink.
The gears are Tim's ideology and the blingy brads are from my stash. Crumpled up my ticket and then attached with Tim's Tiny Attacher. Glossy Accents holds down the individual letters.
Thanks for visiting! Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
LoVe the manly bling!! Brilliant x

what I really love about this is that the bicycle wheels look like eyes ... that are looking at me ... curiously. So the visual reinforces the language reinforces the mind game. Very witty.
