Unusual title, eh? I made this tag for Linda's Grungy Monday challenge, the theme being to honor a loved one who's no longer with us. These are my grandparents, Jim & Frances, and they were married for seventy two years. They died in their mid-nineties, leaving a legacy of 6 children and 26 grandchildren, and I don't even know how many great-grandchildren.
Grungy Monday challenges are all about Tim Holtz. I colored the tag using Tim's spun sugar distress ink, then stamped the Papillon script stamp in pumice stone DI and heat embossed. All the embellishments are Tim's grungeboard. I painted the crowns and wings with Ranger's silver paint dabber, heat embossed the heart with fired brick distress ink, and just ran black archival ink over the numbers. I added the little border strip to hide my uneven gluing of the photo.
Have a great week!
Marjie
