Two posts in one day... unheard of! But I want to keep current on Tim's challenge and so far I'm 3 for 3. I'm having a good time keeping up!
Tim Holtz has a great background technique featured on his blog today, Day 3 of the 12 Tags of Christmas.
I don't have the stamp or folder he used, so I modified using what's on hand. I inked the tag with a mix of distress inks, stamped Tim's sheet music stamp in black archival ink, then ran it through the same embossing folder.
I added some goodies from my holiday stash but couldn't find a ribbon I liked for the top. I spied a scrap of the 7 Gypsies paper I had used on yesterday's card and realized the browns and tans and reds in it would go well with the tag, so I cut a strip and inked it up, then folded into a matchbox shape and attached with my tiny attacher. I folded the edge first and punched it to make it a bit more finished.
Thanks for visiting. See you tomorrow!

Love the multi coloured stamping of the music stamp and then dry embossingover the top with a similar design. The number strip is a great addition.
