These blues are dreamy... I started with a piece of Kraft Resist paper and glued it to manila cardstock (Ranger). Painted with gesso and then sprayed with two of Dyan Reaveley's new ink sprays.
Added some black Archival ink over stencils and a few 7 Gypsies stickers (I know, I said the S- word, and stickers very rarely show up here, but with 7 Gypsies they appear timeless.)
The small round tag up top is from Tim's Sizzix tiny tags/tabs die. I added a black button to it plus stamped "Go!" before putting on a few drops of black Enamel Accents (Ranger) to hang it.
The black letters are Tim's Sizzix Carnivale die. I roughed up the edges of the tag and inked with black Archival Ink. The "enjoy the journey" brad is from My Mind's Eye and the plane is a Tim Holtz stamp.
Used my Crop-o-Dile to get that big black eyelet set.
I'm putting this into two challenges:
The Artistic Stamper - Travel
Our Creative Corner - TicTacToe - I chose this line: blue/brad/button

Thanks so much for visiting. Have a great weekend!

Added Note: Ooops, that plane is indeed UPSIDE DOWN. Oh, well!
WONDERFUL tag, Marjie! Gesso, then ink - adding that to my playtime! TFS!

What a beautiful deep blue tone! This is fabulous!

Love the dark tones to this tag! The stencil you used in the background is my favorite. I use it all the time. And the sticker thing... I have so many in my stash but they are so unpopular now days. I cannot bring myself to use them with the exception of stickers by certain companies that look really great.Have a great weekend.

Well, I STILL love it .. upside down or not! It looks cool ... and unique ... and a fun take on the "explore" sentiment. If flyin' upside down isn't "exploring," then I don't know what is!!
LOVE it, Marji!!!!
