I made this card using distress inks, archival inks and distress markers. The ATC is dipped in beeswax.
The hearts are Tim's Sizzix Movers & Shapers and the tiny little letter is one of his Idea-ology bubbles. (The E is for the couple's last name.) The vine is a Martha punch.
I used his Papillon set and two other more simple script stamps. The hearts are an old favorite (Inkadinkadoo) stamp. After stamping it, I masked the stamped image before adding the script over it.
Thanks so much for the visit!
Marjie
oh, beautiful, Marjie. I love the black on the green - really gorgeous contrast. I really like how you used so many different stamps on the tag portion and then the single stamp on the smaller rectangle - masking out the hearts was a great idea. Really awesome card, I'm sure the recipients will love it!

A really lovely card. Where can I go to learn more about using "encaustic" with paper crafting? This is a new concept to me.

The black really sets off the beautiful images. I can't wait to try beeswax. I have been putting it off but now I want to play... Your card is so elegant!

Hi Marjie
I love the way that the two hearts are free to dangle, movement is always wonderful on artwork.
Then the way you dipped it into beeswax - wow, I so love beeswax.
Wonderful tag.

What a fun and Fabulous Anniversay card. Love that you added the beeswax. I guess its time to pull out my melting pop and with as hot as it is I won't even need to plug it in. LOL

Elegant in its simplicity. Love the colors you chose. Love the vine growing up the side of the card. Love the three little brads, and the lovely hanging heart "branch." Your work is so whimsical and magical...it blesses me! And, I had to look up "encaustic" so thanks for the art education, too!
