The new challenge at Studio L3 is based on the Enameled Metals technique in Tim Holtz’s fab book, the Compendium of Curiosities II. I repeated the technique three times to build up my enamel piece, using Ranger's Pool paint dabber and Gathered Twigs distress ink.
The embossing folder is by Sizzix, and I used my Zutter distrezz-it-all for the rough edges on the brown cardstock.
Last, I made a little clothesline with burlap string from The Funkie Junkie Boutique to hang my clamp/ word charm on.
Thanks so much for visiting. Have a great day!
Marjie

Not that I am an expert (hahaha....) but I have seen plenty of pieces using this Tim technique-- Yours stands out! It has depth and patina and distress. Wish I could do that-- JR
