The September issue of Unruly Paper Arts focuses on collage. We have loads of great articles up already and more are scheduled throughout the month.
This is part of a Reader Art Quest challenge, featuring a 4"X4" collage format. That's a very small space! I made my collage with scraps of patterned paper and a map, alpha stickers, a magazine clipping, fibers, inks, stamps, stencil, flower, brad, and a diecut Sizzix heart.
Hope you'll come over to UPA and join us this month! There are loads of ideas waiting...
Marjie
Intriguing.

What an awesome collage!! I love all the textures and colors!! Is the honeycomb a stamp or a stencil?? can you plz tell me where you got it?? thnx! I actually have a journal that is just a bit smaller than 4x4! I love working small!

Hi Marjie, given the small space that you had to work in, you have got an amazing amount of things on it. Love the colour, the texture you created and that gorgeous face at the top. Small but perfectly formed as they say.........Crafty hugs, Anne x

Love this Marjie...I've been stumped on the 4x4 idea, so seeing yours give me inspiration! I love the green and that image is fantastic!

Thanks, ladies! @ Linda - the honeycomb on the right is a Crafters Workshop stencil and the one on the left is a stamp by Rubbernecker. Tim Holtz has a great honeycomb stamp, too.

So much to see and enjoy Marjie...again you've made a great creation!
greetings, Alie :-)

A very cool collage Marjie! Love it! x

Correction: @ Linda - Sorry, Linda - the one on the left is indeed Tim's honeycomb stamp. The Rubbernecker chickenwire is a fabulous stamp, but much larger and out of proportion for this piece.

That IS a small space, but you used it to it's best advantage with all those gorgeous colors and textures! This is going to be a great Reader's Art Quest.
And thank you for your comment on my column at Unruly Paper Arts, Marjie, I appreciate it!
