I am loving the new extra large Donna Downey flower stamps. I made this spread in Dyan Reaveley's Dylusions art journal, using Tim Holtz's Tissue Wrap,
Donna's flowers are 8" tall and are sized just right for Dyan's big journal. After adhering the tissue wrap to the journal, I stamped the flowers in jet black Archival ink. Then I colored them with Water Soluable Crayons
Next step.... bring on the Dylusions Ink Sprays!
Last step was to add my painted/inked chipboard letters and the stamped sentiment.
I'll link to Creative Every Day and Journal Journeys Challenge 16.
Thanks for visiting!
Marjie
love the techniques you used on these pages. I bought that journal and haven't put anything in it yet. Your pages certainly are motivating me.

Beautiful spread, Marjie! I love Donna's stamps and am always looking for places to use them ... but storing them isn't the easiest task! LOL! I've never seen Tim's tissue paper in the stores but love how you've covered the pages in it. Have had it in the back of my head to just stamp on regular tissue paper and see how that works ... I think you've encouraged me to try that today! Always a treat to see what you've been up to!

This is a lovely journal spread, and I like it even without the coloured background. Hugs, Valerie

Oh Marjie, shame on me....I think this is gorgeous, the stamps are indeed great. But shame on me because I love the pages without the coloured papers even more than the ones with the blue colours... :-)
have a nice weekend, Alie :-)

Love these again, Marjie but I think I prefer the pages before you colour... you used such lovely, interesting elements. Just beautiful, but oh how those stamps are calling out to me... x

Left you a long comment on the EP blog, but I just wanted to add that I totally loved this piece when all you had done to it was stamp the flowers and colored them in. Of course, I loved it even more at the end, but wow....what a wonderful vibe in this piece. It speaks of freedom to me. Love it!
