The March issue of Unruly Paper Arts is dedicated to Artist Trading Cards... it's called the ATC Extravaganza Issue. I'm submitting this layout for Reader Art Quest #2, which calls for an ATC attached to a project. The other challenge this month, Reader Art Quest #1, calls for an ATC house. Both challenges are open through March 25th.
I've made my layout using black cardstock, 7 Gypsies Tissue tape, a Tim Holtz ATC sized background stamp, and some small accent stamps from Technique Tuesday. I've also used Tim's Idea-ology spinners on some watch faces I inked with distress ink.
I coated the entire ATC with embossing powder and heat set it, as well as the little flags I made out of tape to show my son's ages in these pics. Hope you'll visit Unruly Paper Arts and join in one or both of the Reader Art Quests.
I'll be back on Monday with an ATC mini-album that I made for the March issue as well. Thanks for the visit!
Marjie
Thanks for the heads up on this challenge (arrhh, having just posted my ATC card I guess it's too late to backtrack and enter it now!) Love your layout. Great way to use ATC's as well. Hugs, Jenny x

The flags are a sweet addition and I like the idea of the clock, depicting the passing of time, or in this instance, years.
Cute photographs and what a brilliant idea to cover with e.p.

Your layout is very striking Marjie, love how you tied in the clock and your time ATC with the boys growing up. The colours are amazing too, as ever! Hugs, Anne x

A gorgeous layout Marjie using the ATCs and the photos of your son are fabulous. The age markers really add to the timeline and the clock is very significant; indeed where does the time go?
Have a great weekend.

Do you know that every time I see a new post from you I say, "oh, goody!"? Your work is always a joy to behold. I love the choice of black for your background. It really makes the teal and green pop, and lets the images of your son take center stage. Such a keepsake, Marjie! I love it!
